- ✦ Realms of Itheria — HUD Update ✦
A number of HUD improvements, terminology updates, and quality-of-life enhancements have been completed as we continue refining the **Realms of Itheria** experience.
- ✦ Terminology Updates
To better reflect the world's lore and character customization:
- **Archetype** has been renamed to **Species** throughout character scans. - **Race** has been renamed to **Subspecies** throughout character scans and relevant HUD menus. - **Set Race** in the Options menu is now **Set Subspecies**.
- ✦ Character Scans
Character scans have been streamlined and reformatted.
- Path and Path Level are now displayed together:
`Path: Paladin (Lv.1)`
- Removed the separate **Path Level** line. - **Reflection** has received a new decorative visual layout. - **Scan Other** has been redesigned to match the new Reflection formatting. - Selected target hover text has been moved to its own dedicated HUD display area for improved readability.
- ✦ Paths & Abilities
Paladins have received improvements to their early progression.
- **Radiant Smite** is now unlocked at **Level 1**. - New Level 1 Paladins now begin with **2 Tier I Spell Slots**.
- ✦ Backend & Stability
- Improved HTTP request recovery to better handle temporary backend communication issues. - Continued improvements and testing for the new Main HUD architecture.
- ✦ HUD Redesign
The new HUD continues to evolve.
As part of the redesign:
- Health and Mana bars are **temporarily absent** while their new implementation is completed.
These will return in a future update, likely **tomorrow**.
- ✦ Development Continues
Work on the redesigned Main HUD is ongoing, with additional polish, gameplay improvements, and new systems currently in development.
