About Curses
Curses in Itheria are diseases / effects that can be debilitating depending on the player's playstyle and goals. Diseases such as Vampirism and Lycanthropy have negative maluses (debuffs) for being infected with said diseases as well as access to passives and abilities simply for having acquired / allowed the curse to run it's course.
Curse Types
- Infernal Taint
- Gorgon's Kiss: Upon curse maturation, afflicted player becomes a Gorgon, passive involves opponents cds on attacks being longer due to Gorgon's petrifying gaze.
- Lycanthropy:
- Vampirism:
- Acquired as a disease either via ritual or from combat with a player afflicted with vampirism
- 3 day gestation period for disease before fully converting to a vampire.
- (Possible multiple stages to vampirism that come with better bonuses but also harsher maluses)
- Gives access to vampiric drain, mist form, swarm of bats, and vampiric passives.
